Questions
TrueVR — your questions.
What is TrueVR at Fusion Arena Zürich?
TrueVR is full-body 4D virtual reality by TrueVRSystems from Dietlikon, Switzerland. You wear a VR headset and move freely on a 100–200 m² play area — your body is the controller, no joysticks needed. 4D effects like wind, heat and scent make the experience feel completely real.
How many people can play TrueVR at the same time in Zürich?
Up to 10 people can play simultaneously in the same virtual world — ideal for groups, team events and birthday parties.
Which TrueVR games are available in Zürich?
Currently available:
Patient Zero (zombie co-op, 2–5 players),
Urban Assault (team PvP, 2–10 players),
Showdown (laser tag PvP, 2–6 players),
High Voltage and Diamond Heist.
The game library is updated regularly.
Is TrueVR safe? Can you walk into walls or fall?
Yes, TrueVR is safe. The play area is spacious and obstacle-free. The system detects room boundaries and shows virtual warning markers in good time. Our team is always present and guides you through the session.
What is the difference between TrueVR and Genzone?
TrueVR is the flagship experience: free body movement, 4D effects, haptic feedback, no controller — just you. Genzone is controller-based VR on a smaller space, easier to get into and ideal for beginners or smaller groups.
Do I need gaming experience?
Not at all. The briefing covers everything, and your host adjusts difficulty for the group. Most first-timers are running and ducking within two minutes.
Is it physically demanding?
You walk, crouch and reach — comparable to a relaxed game of laser tag. You set the pace; there’s always a calmer adventure option.
Do I get motion sick?
TrueVR uses real walking instead of joystick movement, which is exactly what prevents motion sickness for the vast majority of players.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes. We provide everything else, including hygiene liners for the headsets.
